The Weekly Quirk: Edition One

Welcome to The Weekly Quirk, a curated list of music, art and other cool things around the internet that the Quirky, Brown Love team has collected especially for you.
Ready to jump in? Here is what we are loving this week:
1. Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals
As editor in chief of Quirky, Brown Love, I feel so lucky that I've had the opportunity to meet Anderson .Paak a few times now and he is just what you'd think he's like. A absolutely amazing wild Californian.
Well, our imaginary best guy friend finally dropped a video for our favorite song, Come Down. All I'm saying is...where was my invite to the party? I'll just say it got lost in the mail.
2. BGIO Podcast Episode: On Loving In Spite of Trauma with Anisah Ali
It's no secret that Quirky, Brown Love loves Black Girl In Om. Although this podcast episode is older, it is still soul cleansing.
Check out the episode here.

3. This Affordable Wig Series
Whether you are cosplaying or using it for everyday use, if you are considering wigging it, I'm sure that you are looking for this least "wiggy" wigs at the most affordable price. Kameron Monet hooked us up with her affordable wig series on her YouTube Channel. She also shows how she cuts and styles them! We loved the color of this wig below. Would you rock this color?
4. Alana Ladson's Art
I've been a huge fan of Alana Ladson for about a year now and she continues to amaze me with her creative mind. My current obsession from her is her Figures Collection.

5. The Return of Kid Cudi
On Halloween, our mental illness warrior, Kid Cudi released a video for "Surfin'"....featuring Pharrell Williams. Kid Cudi and Pharrell in the same song AND we got a Solange album this year? The music gods are playing with my emotions, man.
6. This tweet + guided meditation
Have you been treating your energy as currency? I posted on Twitter that my energy was in need of a reevaluation and an angel shared this guided meditation with me. Hopefully it blesses someone.
7.Adorned by Chi's Pity Party Idea
First, let's all acknowledge the wonderfully creative, vibrant soul that is Adorned By Chi's founder, Jacque Amadi. As one of QBL's resident internet home girls, Jacque Amadi can basically do know wrong. So when the most cheerful soul on the internet says that it's okay to throw a pity party, we listen. Not only did she say that it's okay, she gave us a step-by-step guide on how to throw the best darn pity party you can.
P.S. The playlist is killer.

P.S. Please tell me that you are already a member of Adorned By Chi's Soft Black Girls on Facebook...
P.S.S. Did you know that "P.S." stands for Post Scriptum, meaning "after having written"? The more you know, the more you grow.

What are your favorites from the list? What else should be on our radar?
