Quirky, Brown Love Covers The B&O PLAY Launch Party With Zoe Kravitz, TK Wonder and Cipriana

This weekend, Quirky, Brown Love was invited to cover the star-studded launch for B&O PLAY's #TheFutureSeries in Brooklyn and it was absolutely phenomenal.

Firmly grounded in decades of design excellence and product innovation from Bang & Olufsen, B&O PLAY interprets the same values for a new line of contemporary products aimed at design-conscious urbanites with an active lifestyle. The B&O PLAY portfolio consists of products that are intuitive to use and easy to integrate into your daily life, whether you are at home or on the move.

The Future Series will serve as a platform for B&O PLAY to showcase contemporary creative talents, advancing cultural exchange and product experience through new ideas about design and technology.

Well known faces, such as Zoe Kravitz, TK Wonder, Cipriana, Sade Lythcott and Alyse Archer-Coité, made sure to attend this VIP gathering. Zoe even said that she left early for her own band practice to make it on time for event!

The Future Series kicks off with THE NEW WAVE, a three-part performance and exhibition series curated by A/D/O – a new design center in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. THE NEW WAVE will showcase the research, talents and creations of emerging, passionate innovators who explore the intersection of design and technology through their medium – from the culinary arts to sound and light. Each event, including this one, will debut a one-of-a-kind design work commissioned by A/D/O.

The location of the first event in the NEW WAVE series was the held at Aska, a Scandanavian restaurant operated by Chef Fredrik Berselius that is known for its multi-course style and locally sourced foraged ingredients.

The location in combinations with Brooklyn-based artist Jason Krugman's LED light work could not have been more perfect for the occasion.

Guests were also treated to a performance from Gabriel Garzón-Montano and an 11-course meal...yes, ELEVEN.
